You can download the accurate manual. I am now using 16.8 gains in a rem hull with a claybuster AA12SL ONE OUNCE wad. ed

never liked more then 17.5 with 1 1/8, to much recoil. Great 1oz. With tgt12 wads. Use STS,Gun Club and AA hulls with no noticeable differences

Look at the Winchester data for 1 1/8 oz., notice the pressures. Notice that even in the Win data there is none for a 1200 fps load. The loads at 1150 are at the upper limit of SAAMI specs. The reason for no 1 1/8 oz. data is because the payload causes entirely too much pressure for your shotgun. I don't know about a "kick me sign" but if you want a good "kicking" load up some 1 1/8 oz zoomers and they will kick like a Bay Steer just before your shotgun lets go....

Flip, what do you not understand, if you want 11/8 then 17.5. We are telling you that there is some recoil when you go to 11/8.

    I shoot 17.2 grns with a windjammer wad,rio primer,STS or AA hulls.
I only fill the shot cup to the top. This is about 460-470 grns of shot.
    1 once is about 430 grns & 1 1/8 is about 490 grns.
Does a great job if I do mine. Not much recoil eighter.

Be very carefull! the reason for the absent 1 1/8 oz . data is the fact that this powder has been reformulated! old nitro 100 is not remotely the same as the new, proceed with caution! incinerate em!

At what point did the powder change. The only reason I ask is, I
Bought a small container of nitro 100 a couple weeks ago. This
powder is black with a larger flake. The new formula / recent powder
is fine grained and silver/grey color There is a dated sticker on the
bottom of bottle dated from 2007. When did the change happen. I was
    hoping to reload this still.

    Thanks Jason in PA

I still hold that when they "Reformulated" the powder NOW called Nitro 100 (new formula) they did the shotshell reloaders a serious DIS-SERVICE. Everything about the new did NOT match the old. Appearance, loading info, powder density (which changed powder drop weight as used in bushings) and charge weights for a given load was different. About the only thing that was NOT changed was the name. That name should have been the first thing changed!

As long as it says improved, it sucks. Talked to the head man, all he said was it was reformulated and made in FL. And what I bought was what I had to live with, it was like dandruff. Rich G

There is some Nitro 100 data for 1200-1225 but you got to use the New Formula and Federal Gold Metal hulls. Pressures are 10-11k.

If you want 1-1/8 data and want to use Accurate powder, move to Solo 1000 and enjoy.
