A friend of mine is already using and liking Nitro 100 powder in his 12 gauge trap/skeet loads. He also shoots skeet in 20 Ga. and would like to also use this powder for those reloads. But, their website shows nothing for anything but 12 ga. loads! He is somewhat fearful since this is a new formulation which now is not usable for handgun loads as in the past.
So...anybody doing 20 ga. target loads with this stuff? He is using a MEC loader so if you know the appropriate powder bushing it would be great. But he does have a scale too. Thanks!

Nitro 100 is NOT a suitable powder for a 20 gauge. WAY too fast burning.

He would be much better served to get some Alliant 20/28 or Hogdon Universal powder and use a recipe provided by the powder company.

Hi Rich. We're back up till the 26th. See you on Wens. I have a bunch of old assorted 20 gauge wads and AA hulls I'd trade for curent 12 gauge components.

We would be hearing about another blown-up gun if your friend tried Nitro100 in his 20 ga!
    Tell him....ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!
