I hope they can't bury this one. What a can of freakin worms we have here.

I really can't say what I want on a public forum. My whole day is shot now.

It doesn't belong in any section, unless we have an Idiot's section.

I don't know whether this is true or not but I sure won't rely on the left wing liberal based Snopes for my information on anything. Snopes is like the MSNBC of information services. At least Hasan used a gun to commit his acts of murder, not a health care reform bill designed to deny proper health care for seniors.

Charley would you care to elaborate on just how and where that was done on trapshooters.com. Just for the benefit of those of us that are unaware of this happening.

The website looks like the genuine article.

I don't trust Snopes too far either, they are anti gun and liberal. I see sometimes instead of declaring something genuine they dance around it for a long winded analysis, and then have no conclusion.

    More research necessary.

    HM,

It is genuine - it's a non-governmental task force put together in 2008 by George Washington University and they have provided advice to the Bush and Obama administrations for the transition. The terrorist cannot be shown to have had direct contact with President Obama by this document and the claim that <i>"Nidal Hasan, was Homeland Security advisor on Obama transition team"</i> is completely unsupported by this document.

Charles, I thought I read that the task force was put together to provide policy for the incoming President?

That's correct. He is on page 29, listed in alphabetical order with about 200 others as a "task force participant".

Not exactly a smoking gun, but as I listened to the news this morning an item declared that some higher up Army officers were "furious" at the way the ball was dropped on this jihadist.

    There was obviously no relationship.

But the deaths at Fort hood can be laid directly at the feet of Political correctness. Apparently the pervading atmosphere presently in the military is that no one dares to make any type of profiling observation about Muslimes and Jihad. So everyone looked the other way on this guy.

The red flag should have been his statements that returning Iraq veterans should be treated as war criminals.

I would have had him up on charges.

Most of the country has lost its manhood. And its judgement. If something is right, it's right, and vice versa.

The pukes have it all in slightly varying shades of gray.

Raining here, I'm going to the loading room.

    Hoosier Daddy,

Correct, or at least they provided policy recommendations that were presented to the incoming administration. However, that in no way made the terrorist the "Homeland Security advisor" to the President and he was not part of the official presidential transition team. Just about every think tank in Washington wrote policy recommendations and submitted them to the President - whether anyone in the administration ever saw them, read them, or just tossed them in the trash is anybody's guess.
