1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

I have for sale a Remington M-31 Pump Trap gun. It was formerly owned by Bill Jacobsen the founder of Silver Dollar Trap Club. A friend of his purchased it from him in 1982 and it has been in his gun safe since! Although this gun was used to shoot trap it shows little wear and should last another 50 years or so! The trigger guard has been hard chromed and the mag tube and barrel hanger replaced with stainless replacements. The stock is a custom job and the grip is fine for a medium hand...I believe it's an "Etchen" grip which from what I have read helped reduce flinching. It was a bit tight for my big mitts! I shot a few rounds through the gun and its smooth as silk and absolutely smokes targets! This would be a great gun for a young or new shooter.

Priced at $795.00 including shipping to your FFL dealer! Own a piece of history and a great shooter to boot! More pictures on our website above, under pre-owned guns.

Barrel length, and choke? Nicest 31 I've ever seen.

    Bob:

You may want to take a look at the link you have listed. It doesn't work for me in it's present form with the extra http in it. I finally did get it to work, just had to delete the extra stuff as listed.

Made in 1940. According to the owner. I'm checking serial numbers this weekend.

One look at the trigger guard shows it is earlier than the 41 series.

Bob: Can you describe the stock? Right? Left? Neutral?

More information: Manufacture date January 1936. According to the previous owner the barrel and choke were done by Jack Seahase. He was a well known barrel guru in the 1970's in and around Florida. He apparently re-choked this gun to .034 with a barrel bore of .733. I took it to the gun club this past Saturday and it is a pleasure to shoot. Just ink balls targets from anywhere. I shot light 8's from 16 yard and 3dr. 7.5's from 27 yards and it is an impressive gun to shoot. Not much recoil for a pump gun. Real slick action too! (The laughing you hear in the background is the guys who were watching me flinch with a pull trigger!)

LOP is 14 1/4 with a old hard pad...It needs a new one, but I wanted to leave it to the new owner to put one on at the length he needs.

The grip is an "Etchen" style and the stock is a custom job but I have no clue who might have done it. There is no checkering on the stock.

The stock sets up straight with no preference to right or left...that's the way they made them then. An adjustable comb would go a long way...just sayin'.

If there are any more questions, send a PM and I'll do my best to answer promptly.
