1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    Stunningly beautiful.

I have to say the shape of Perazzi receiver looked much better than that old Remington, or whatever that is. :)

Where did the Italian artisans learn about mallard ducks? they have Mallards in Italy?

9 gold birds on just one side of that MX receiver.

You are looking at an O/U receiver above a SxS receiver. The SxS is much more elegant and graceful; not just a rectangular block like the O/U. It is also more challenging to engrave artistically. One advantage it has is that the fences may be treated in many creative ways limited only by the imagination of a master engraver.

While I love both these works of art, I particulaly like the SxS. it is exquisite. Look at the inlays at the hinge pin! Imagine the wood of a highly finished stock peeking through the spaces around the sidelock. WOW!

The bottom one is not a side x side.

Both of them are just beautiful.

    Marcello,

    Absolutely beautiful!

The K gun (top receiver) offers a large flat engraving surface for the project. I like the way hte engraving is carried over to the top latch hood.

The sideplated Perazzi O/U receiver offers a different surface, full of curves and the engraver fully utilized it while keeping perspectives very appealing.

Elegant and tasteful, in my opinion.

Anybody have any idea of how much an engraving like this costs??? It has to be very labor intensive. Also how long would it take a craftsman to do a receiver??? Thanks Dave
