Sound a little like discrimination to me. If you can afford to live in Philly, and can put up a fence, bar your windows and doors, or even be lucky to have armed escorts, it shouldn't affect you. But if you're poor (and likely a minority), you'll only have the police around to investigate the crime already committed. There's no protection for yourself.

    Didn't Hitler impose gun control?

I've already written every senator and representative in PA on this. They are getting a lot of feedback from the citizens, that's why he has pulled it back to only Philly, but everyone has to do their part and call and write in!!!

There was a rally/press conference last week that was made up of all who were opposed, and the local news here covered it. I couldn't go, because I was really sick (although I alerted several area shooting coaches via email about this event). Guess what? The newcasters made sure that they showed the old guys in overalls, long beards, and uncombed hair, and they made a big deal about someone carrying a sign that said to hang Cruz from the tree of liberty (implying that we tend toward violent behavior).

People, you have to be very active, and you have to play this game with finesse and brains. Write in, be polite but to-the-point (no threats!). Then show up for camera opps IN A SUIT, or at least in business-casual clothing, and please clean up and groom yourselves first. Come en masse like that, and the camera-men will have a difficult time finding someone that looks deranged to put up in front of the public.

I was at the rally last Tue, very poor turnout for a sportsman state like Pa. maybe 500 to 700 people were there, and yes there were some who would fit into a skinhead convention. My rep. understands our concerns and said Cruz had to come up with some plan to keep his voters happy because Philadelphia is becoming the murder capital of America. It looks like there going to go for a 1 gun a month and ban hi cap mags in the near future.

Why are politicians always "reactive" and never "proactive".

Can the Repulican congressman follow up with mandatory 10 year sentences for armed crimes, mandatory 25 yrs for criminal injury while armed, and "life means life" for murder?

Take it to the people of PA, let them decide whats good for them.

We need to take the reins, and start steering back onto the right track, not sitting on our hands.

I see some of you do attend the rallys, but you're just reacting to the anti's solutions. Time to get the guys you voted in to speak up.
