    I wonder how these pattern for use against rattlesnakes?

    brian they do good to about 15 feet american rifleman had a artical on them just a little pricey now about 450 must places i like the 6in barrel better but its me rick

    15 feet is all ya need for snake protection.

    They look interesting, but I think at least one review stated that the 45 Colt bullets in their test were key holing.

    IMO: A .45 LC or .44 SPL revolver is a better choice. For snakes - an occasional round of CCI/Speer #9 (with the blue plastic cup) won't hurt the gun
    and 200 to 250 grain LSWC at 800 fps in either caliber is much better protection from two legged predators than any .410 shotshell - especially fired from a handgun.

    I'd pass on this novelty gun and go for one of Taurus' short barreled .44SPLs;
    it is a much more practical, attractive and cost effective gun.

    I've shot them, and own one of their 6" .44 Mags - a nice gun.

    i got to shoot one they are a lot of fun , ill be buyin one , we even used 410 slugs an were hitting a paper plate at 20 yds
