New Supreme Court

    One of the cases they will decide this year is IF a state can ban guns even thought the U.S. Constitution allows for it. Could be an interesting year for some.....

    Seems it may fall under states rights. Didn't we fight a civil war over this issue in the 1860's? States lost, as I recall.

    Although "States Rights" has falsely been categorized as the justification for "Racial Discrimination", it is stll one of the major constructs in the US Constitution. It has never been repealed - just ignored! Probably the worst offended in this area was FDR who started this country on the downward slide, not to mention selling easter Europe down the river (Volga River). Since him, it has only picked up speed.

    Without the states rights provision the Constitution would never have been ratified. It will be interesting to see which way the Court leans on this one. Will it support the Constitution or a Imperial central government?
