    I'm hearing the price of new shells are set for a steep incline? anyone?

    the guy that I buy bulk 28 gauge shells from says Rio did a price increase for 28 gauge shells this past couple of months and he proposed that it was in response to a near future increase from Winchester and Remington. He has been dealing with Rio for years and he mentioned everytime Rio did a price increase, it was due in part of an increase by the other big US brand shell producers...given that, I stocked up on Win AA 28 gauge @ $90/flat as much as my wallet could handle lol

    Boy, those 20 flats of STS and Nitro shells I bought last year for $52 each (after Remington's rebate) are looking more like a good investment all the time. It's just a shame that I only have 39 bags of shot left of the 100 bags I bought for $16 a bag.
