I recently saw the new handle for the PW Patriot loader. If you haven't seen this, its very comfortable. Jim Cunningham had one at the Florida State shoot, but said he couldn't get them from PW for an indefinate time.

Is there an enterprising machinist out there who can make some? This new handle is very slick and comfortable, or at least it was on Cunningham's demo machine.

Can't imagine anything more comfortable and adjustable than the factory's "shovel handle".

The hydraulic unit is more comfortable... no handle no pull just step on the pedal. Fred

Be patient. The company is concentrating on getting the new Patriot ready for shipment.

We *just* last week finished up deciding on where and how to mount the counter.

Today I received a newer style NEW handle from the factory, even a bit newer design than the one you saw in FL. They shipped it to me as an option for those of you who have a shell feeder. This *new* design is based upon the "FL", handle, but it faces to the left so as not to interferre with the shell feeder. I like both designs, and even put the 17ยบ ergo-bend in both.

When P/W gets up to speed shipping these new Patriots, I have a feeling they would be more than happy to supply handles to all who want them.

I, personally, am hoping that the Patriot will be ready to ship in about 2-3 weeks. As I mentioned in another thread, they are awaiting on the mould of their new design of the spent primer box so they can get these moulded.

If you know anybody that uses "Bag Balm" on their hands, the little cans fit perfect to catch spent primers after they're empty.<center>

Bag Balm can be purchased at your local Dairy Store or Walgreens.

Think of it as a thick WD40. Many many uses.

Whiz - Thanks for the information. I hope you will put a post on here when the new style handles are available from you or PW. The one that I saw was a right hand bend at the grip, a rotating grip, and no curve in the shaft. It was very comfortable to operate while STANDING as oppossed to sitting.I hope that we're talking about the same handle.

Wayne from the factory called this morning to say that the *new* handle is going to be the shipped standard handle. The new one is similar to the right-angle bend with the triangular grip, but it now faces to the left and has a could of small bends to accommodate the shell-feed system.

I'll get a pic of it and post here here on ts.com this week-end. Been kinda busy to do it now.

Sounds like the handle found on the Dillon Blue Press.
