Advantage? The 2 that come immediately to mind are NO MORE DUCT Tape, No more Springboard shells bouncing to where you can't reach them.

The advantage is I'll get mine first, and now, will be able to have the shells slide exactly into the auto boxing device I designed, right where I want 'em.

Thanks Wayne, the check is in the mail.

Naw I sold the PWs and got a Spolar. It already has one of these BUT that shell feeder is sure tempting.

Raise the stock chute up 3/4" with a piece of wood and a bit of sheet metal.

Cut a triangle of 1 1/2" thick upholstery foam to fit under the chute between the chute and the cross shaft.

No more spring board, no more "clang" and a lot less than $44!

    Thanks, Bandit...

But I use a nice thin rubber anti-vibration pad on the back of mine, and your generous contribution to Obama's defense budget has already paid for it!

Due to a special project in the works, Wayne made a special one for me. It has been lowered to clear the motor drive and extended to get the shell out past the cutout in the base of the motor mounting plate and allow room for me to add the articulated indexing system that's in the works. In any case, be sure when you order to let Whiz know if you've got a motor drive, or perhaps, they're gonna make them all that way. It's really neat, though, how it works, with the shell sliding down the chute and exiting the other end much like a log on a sluice-way, and plop, into the catch tray. I'm betting future PW machines will come so equipped from the factory.

Thanks again Wayne, for the special effort you made on my behalf and making me the proud owner of SR#1. PW is a great company with outstanding customer service and dealer back up. One more thing about calling for factory assistance or dealer help; it's like making love to tigers: approach is everything...grin.

I am only carrying the one that works with the electric-drive, because that should work for everything.

I sent back to Wayne yesterday the first set of aluminum two-piece brackets, and Wayne has shipped me the newer replacements.
