Anyone seen/handled these yet? I have wanted to get into the K80 special, but without having to put the money into buying extra barrels, fitting them, plus having the extra stock. For the trap and sporting shooter it seems like just what the doctor ordered.

Are you referring to the Pro-Sporter?

They were introduced at the Grand I believe the ACS stands for K-80 American Clay Shooting. It is the K-80 reciever with a new finsh with the Trap Special unsingle barrel and the Pro-Sporter O/U barrels. It also has a different stock than the normal trap special. It was design to be used in all the clay sports, like trap and sporting clays with one gun. I believe they talk about it in Trapshooting USA a few months ago.

I would be cautious about the O/U only shooting 70/30 unless you like the flatter shooting guns.

Here is a pic of the new ACS I found. Great Lakes has one in stock.

Setterman, you make a good point, 70/30 may be a little low for trap doubles. I imagine you could always raise the comb a little bit to raise the poi. I would likely have Devault fit a new stock for trap, depending on how I shot the factory stock.

Krieghoff's web site doesn't say too much about them.

Caesar Guerini has about the same thing. It's called an "Impact". The difference is the POI is far more adjustable on the O/U. CG claims that 90/10 is possible.

According to Guerini's website the rib is 40% shorter on the Impact also.

For someone who want something for all types of games in one gun they would be OK I guess but if you go to changing the stock or other modifications wouldn't you be altering the purpose of the design?
