I got permission once to work with my dogs on land owned by a guy who was real big in raising exotic pheasants. I had no idea how many amazing varieties pheasants come in. Some are so gaudy they make ringnecks look boring.

Uhhh, why can't they be eaten,,,poisonous????just wondering, not that I would.I didn't think there were any birds, that can't be eaten if size and type didn't matter. But a starving person would try,,even a sparrow I bet, if it were the only thing around.

Will they peck each others eyes out if you don't put blinders on them? Ringneck's will. Check with someone familiar with this breed before they hurt each other. BIG JIM
