    Patrick..

My favorite load (for geese and late season ducks) was 1-3/8 oz. of copper coated #4's pushed out by Dupont 4756 powder.

Today I use Remington HD, 1-1/4 oz. of #4 (2-3/4") @ 1325 fps. Absolutely devasting over decoys.

Oh My!!!! Hope you have a thick skin! Welcome aboard. Most of us are old hunters that can't find a recipe for those orange clays. They're alot of fun to shoot of but taste terrible ;)

Welcome Patrick. 1 1/4 0z #4's and table spoon of Blue dot worked great too when it wasn't too cold.

    Patrick,

Real men do not use a 12 ga for duckies. A 28 with 5's is all you need.

The 12 ga is for the pesky clay birds on the trap fields. You need a denser pattern on those babies.

Even a small duck is bigger than a White Flyer! Don't be a pussy or Tron will have his cat attack you.

    Don Verna

PS Good to have fresh meat on the site. WELCOME!!!

If you can take the recoil of a metal butt plated Springfield '03, you can take anything.

    Welcome, Patrick.
