    Thanks for the comments, to answer a few questions, God made the blank, Phil Simms did the duplicating and finishing. DB Bill may have understated.

    Setterman, nice stock and elaborate checkering.

    Jack, thanks for posting better pics, I am a photobucket novice.

    The Seitz was his third stock. Tom Smith has a duplicator, and got it within 1/4" all around. Phil's checkering is more precise and even than junior's and I bet he did it a lot quicker. Beautiful wood Don. I was just kidding about the coffee table comment. I hear that a lot my self.

    I too assumed DB Bill was a bit off.

    Beautiful wood. I have some marble cake walnut on a Browning 1885 Single Shot, but it's not nearly as bold as that.

    Barry, It's the Silver Seitz Recoil System. Similiar to a Soft touch, only different.
