I saw a new box of Estates Thursday night. They have gone back to the Chedditte case with the plastic base wad. Federal may be so far behind in production, they are looking for some help. I don't know where the rest of the shell was made. White box with Red printing, like the first ones I remember.

The Estates in the white box are indeed a sublet by Federal. The white box is the indicator for identification. The other box is made by Federal and nothing has changed. It's an attempt to catch up with their back orders of over 200,000 flats.

They cost $65.00 a flat at Academy in San Antonio. The one I cut apart was supposed to be #8 shot. It had 494 gr. of approximately #8.7 shot. US made Estates usually have about 475 gr of normal sized shot. IMHO Ron
