New deficit projections pose risks to Obama

For Dahaub, and other liberals,,let me tell you about the last election!!!

    From Reuters;

"New deficit projections pose risks to Obama's agenda"

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama's domestic policy proposals will face the reality of skyrocketing deficits on Tuesday when officials release two government reports projecting huge budget shortfalls over the next decade.

The White House budget office and the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), a non-partisan arm of Congress, release updated economic forecasts and deficit estimates on Tuesday, providing further fiscal fodder to opponents of Obama's nearly $1 trillion healthcare overhaul plan."

"Looking forward, an administration official told Reuters the 10-year budget deficit projection will jump by about $2 trillion to roughly $9 trillion from an original forecast of $7.1 trillion."

"The CBO had previously forecast that deficits between 2010 and 2019 would total $9.1 trillion, generating heat for the White House, which stuck to its original $7.1 trillion forecast earlier this year. The new number will bring White House projections into line with the CBO, the official said."

In other words, hussein and company deceitfully and knowingly lied. Period.

"We're still on a long-run trajectory that's not sustainable," said Rudolph Penner, a fellow at the Urban Institute and former CBO director from 1983-1987."

"Many economists think it is unlikely that the government can curtail spending, which means taxes would have to rise to cover the increasing costs of providing retirement benefits and healthcare to older people. That could slow economic growth."

How do you like him now????????? A president and congress that knows nothing but socialism and spending money.

How do you like him now???? hussein must fail. If hussein succeeds, what is remaining of the country,,will fail. Period.

What? External Economic Reality projects its ugly head into Budget Policy?

    Horrors!

This will strengthen the hand of the Blue Dogs, and further drive a wedge between Obama and his Kook Far-Left Base.

Anybody want to hazard a guess which party is going to undergo a massive internal pissing match over the next 12 months?

Delicious. I'm gonna go get some popcorn...

Putting water into the soup may fool some people, but the nutritional value does not change.

This country has to get off the consumption based economy. We needed to change direction several years ago, but waited till NOvember, and then went the wrong way.

The Left no doubt realizes now, that if they don't get their massive "safety net" (hammock) installed in the next 12 months - it may never happen, because America can't afford it anymore.

They ask, how come Europe was able to do this, but America never did? Answer: Europe did it when their continent was destroyed by War and the people were clamoring for it...plus, they had 40 years of post-War economic boom to provide the funds to make it look feasible.

Neither of which applies to America at this point in time.

I agree with this completelty - except I don't think the "other" choice was willing to make the political sacrifice to turn the foolish spending off.

...plus, they (Europe) had 40 years of post-War economic boom to provide the funds.
Also don't forget they (Europe) also had 40 years of Americain military protection. Had they been required to reimburse us for their defense or build their own (disallowed by treaty/armistice) they would have been forced to choose guns over butter. Especially when you consider the Soviet and Chinese ambitions as demonstrated in Germany and Korea at the time.

"Reid Trails GOP Challenger By Double Digits in New Poll"

"Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is trailing a top Republican challenger by 11 points ahead of next year's election, according to a new poll.

The Mason-Dixon Polling and Research survey, reported Sunday in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, showed GOP candidate Danny Tarkanian leading Reid by 49 percent to 38 percent in Nevada.

Tarkanian is a former basketball player for the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and recently announced his candidacy.

The new poll also showed Sue Lowden, chairwoman of the Nevada Republican Party and a possible candidate, leading Reid by 45 percent to 40 percent."

Reminds me of when former sitting Senate majority leader, Tom Daschle, D. was turned out to pasture. Daschle was recently exposed as a tax cheat,,one of many of hussein's former cabinet 'choices'...

"Pawlenty sounded a lot like he was running against Obama, dashing off a series of one-liners criticizing the president's administration and the Democrat-controlled Congress on health care, running up the deficit and the stimulus package."

"I don't think Cash for Clunkers should be a label for that particular program, I think it should be a label for the whole entire administration," he said. He later said, "Giving the Democrats control and responsibility for our money is like letting Michael Vick watch your dog for the weekend."

There's plenty of money around. Just ask Dashaub's fellow moonbat lib socialist Peloser.

"No more StarKist Tuna for me .....
SNOPES" VALIDATES THE FACTS BELOW :

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's home district includes San Francisco . StarKist Tuna's headquarters are in San Francisco , Pelosi's home district. StarKist is owned by Del Monte Foods and is a major contributor to Pelosi. StarKist is the major employer in American Samoa employing 75% of the Samoan work force. Paul Pelosi, Nancy 's husband, owns $17 million dollars of StarKist stock.
In January, 2007 when the minimum wage was increased from $5.15 to $7.25, Pelosi had American Samoa exempted from the increase so Del Monte would not have to pay the higher wage. This would make Del Monte products less expensive than that of its competitors. Last week when the huge bailout bill was passed, Pelosi added an earmark to the final bill adding $33 million dollars for an "economic development credit in American Samoa " Pelosi has called the Bush Administration "CORRUPT" and many other things !"

It just never ends with liberals. Hussein can't find ANY honest dumocrats to fill his posts. Most of them are tax cheats. Hussein,,in normal liberal fashion,,hired the tax cheat in chief to run the IRS!!!

There is no limit to the depth which this administration will plunge. An absolute disgrace to the country.....

"Obama Administration Missing Many Top Appointees"

"The Obama administration is missing most of its top appointees, according to a new report.

The New York Times reported Monday that only 43 percent of the more than 500 senior positions requiring Senate confirmation have been filled.

The vacancies span just about every major agency and include positions that would be critical to President Obama's ambitious agenda.

According to the report, the president is still missing an assistant treasury secretary for financial markets; a director for the Agency for International Development; and even his Army secretary.

He also has not yet filled several top national security posts.

The slow movement could be a reflection of the trouble Obama had earlier in the year confirming a number of top agency officials. Problems over taxes and other issues derailed some of those nominations."

How do you like him NOW,,,liberals?????

Don't worry bigdog, he's ok...he does this sometimes.

Heck, when his Big Union Buddy Rod Blagojevich got busted in Illinois, he stayed away almost a week, crying about it...then when he came back, he was so hoppin' mad, he attacked his own reflection in the window.

Give him some time, he'll be back, better than ever...probably with some made-up story about how he was away on vacation at a Rhubarb convention or something (we know the real truth, wink wink).

The TARP and "stimulus" money will drive inflation to the point we will have $25/loaf bread.

Then the genius who hatched this ridiculous boondoggle will get to payoff the monster debt with wheelbarrows full of Obama confetti cash.

The puppet-masters name is George Soros. Do the research,,but,,do not believe anything you read about him on his own website. It's pure propaganda and lies. Soros wrote the book on being devious.

Soros, Blagovich, Burris, Obama, all of the formerly nominated tax cheats,, they are all the same.
