Does anyone know what the new coating is on the new Federal paper shells. It seems to be more substantial than the old wax. After initial firing, mine want to go back to half closed at the crimp. As a result, I have been using a shell iron to open the crimp all the way. The coating becomes very fluid when heated on the shell iron, but when it is cooled and reloaded, it crimps beautifully. If you know what this coating is, let me know.
