Happy to learn today that New Balance sneakers are being made in the USA again.

My wife brought me home a pair that she purchased at "Sears". They come with a attached card stating Manufactured in the USA.

Made in USA means that real manufacturing jobs were provided to US workers to make the product.

They are also one of the few brands that come in wide sizes.

If you check their catalog, you'll see that some styles are foreign made and some are domestic.

"Asics", and they have been available in wide widths for some time. Japanese company and who knows where they are made. I'm sure the US is not the major manufacturing site for them. Hit the link up top for more info.

I have had New Balance made in China, the US, and elsewhere over the years. They are one of the few available in wide widths.

Why do older people, like me, need wide widths?? Spend too much time standing up? Senior Smoke, what do you wear??

There is a town in China named "usa" not to be confused with U.S.A. Bulge
