So bigal (hidden name meaning?), what are you saying about his XT or Gene? If you have a negative experience with him, lets hear it...otherwise you're blowing hot air.

    Dear Gene

I cannot believe you have not sold this gun! I saw a well used fixed stock XT go for $1800 at the gun club yesterday. One of the SCTP kids tried it, ran a 25 and his Dad bought it on the spot. When you say it has great wood, I have no doubt it has great wood.

A friend of mine picked up a Combo at the Grand, and was able to look over several and choose his for the wood. The stock is fabulous considering he did not pay extra for it.

    Dear Al

I have both bought and sold numerous guns, barrels and such with Gene. The payment and merchandise generally cross in the mail. Gene has more Krieghoff goodies than Dieter K.! Never a problem either way.

    What's your point?

Nope. Been around a while. I know and have dealt with Gene. I want to see the stock. If he says it is killer, then it is killer. Great wood gives me wood!!! LOL

I have a Cynergy Sporter that would surprise you. I was very pleased with the wood.

    M R Ducks,

Well, I had a less-than-satisfactory transaction with Gene.
I was set to buy an XT from him several months ago. Had the price agreed upon, a FFL set up to receive it....it was a "done deal". Then he started giving me such a hard time in his emails that I had no choice but to cancel the deal.

I, for one, ain't all that impressed with the way the man deals with his customers...and wouldn't buy a gun from him if his price was one-tenth of the value. Okay, maybe not one-tenth...but one-half for sure! :)
