I'm using a standard white AA wad in my Spolar with no issues. I'd say it may be the wad!!

I cannot understand how 1 out of 6 wads would not be seated deep enough. The wad ram should travel the same distance every time the handle is pulled down.

I just loaded 5000 AAs with downrange DRA-12 1 oz and 1 1/8 wads, didn't have any problems with wads not seating properly. One of the keys to loading the new AAs is corect wad selection.

Palidin, Yes that is shot and I'm getting ready to make another 1500 lbs.

Bulgie, I shoot, reload, and make shot.

If things keep getting more expensive I may have to get a job to help pay for my hunting and shooting.

Some ribbed wads may pull back up because the wad ram diameter is a bit large. I solved that problem on my Spolar by purchasing a smaller gauge wad ram!!
