Neil Crausbay will go down in ATA History as the ATA President that wanted to keep the 3 hole target, but was stabbed in the back by the EC.

I will rate him up there with George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, McCarthur,
    and Modern day Steve Jobs.

Tom Acklin and Neil Winston were the worst ATA Presidents so far that held the position as President.

Neil Winston did post and answer questions but but only used his views and did not take others into consideration.

    These are my personal observations

Vic Reindeers was a trapshooters gentleman, he knew the sport, loved the sport and honored the sport

The last 17 Presidents were just figureheads.

Boy will I catch some flack on this. But it needed to be said.

But as usual, you haven't researched subject prior to posting! Your consistently constant unauthenticated approach has already allowed the majority to tune you out.

Why did it "need to be said"?

    What have you accomplished?

Thats one thing you won't have to worry about as you certainly don't honor the sport Scummy.

Dr. Longshot - did you even register any targets when Winston was pres?? When it comes to running the ATA, what qualifications do you have??? Certainly is not participating in ATA events.

Roger it's put up or shut up time. Let's see if you have a pair.

Who used the one hole and what shoot so that someone could make AA??

Who took the interrupters off their machines???

Who made AA with one hole targets???

Either put up some proof of what you say or Longshit's BS has spread to you. You made some pretty bold accusations now back it up.

Personally I am getting tired of the petty back stabbing about of what might of used to be. Start naming names and places.

These empty accusations do no good to the Sport.

BIGDON, you might want to ask Roger what he remembers about Earl Scripture. That might provide you with some insight how some Grand Slams were tainted!!

    Dr Longwind,

You really should start your threads with "Once upon a time" fairy tales always started that way when I was a kid.. so I believe they still should

Mr. Winston, I'm too lazy to look this up and know you know the answer. When N. C. "changed" the target setting requirement, was anything changed in the rule book?

The '95 yearbook says "not less than a straightaway from post 1 or 5". The '97 yearbook says the trap should be adjusted so the right angle is not less than 17.14 degrees from center-same for the left angle in Singles shooting". I streamlined that info a bit but you get the idea. I'm missing the '96 rules but we can see the official change occured in those years!!

Oops, I just located the '96 rules. Same as '95. I'll assume Jerry Racke may have been Pres. the year the rule book was officially changed!!
