I'm wanting to get some inexpensive side blinders made of thick cardboard for the High School shooters, in school colors, of course.
I've checked with a sign shop and the local Kinko's, and they just give me sort of a blank stare when I show them one. Apparently not every printer has that die-curring capability.
Any suggestion of the type of business that would be able to punch them out?

Blinders made from plastic report binders are much more durable.

The school store probably even has them in the school colors.

What is the point of blinders, anyways?

If you can get me the colors, logo, and a design, I'd be happy to make some for you guy at no charge. The less work in design I have to do would make this an easier task to undertake, like I need more work...

I have a specially made die and cutter machine exactly for this purpose.

This is what I made up in a hurry one day... These are a bit larger to help hide the moving idiots to the right of you when you are shooting.

Picture is a bit distorted as they are a bit oonger than what appears.

Thank you and I will get my "stuff" together and get back with you. I've checked locally and it seems that getting a die made is about what it is going to take.

There is a guy in Phoenix that makes them out of leather and lazer engraves them. Very nice. Or I have a bunch that have downrange advertising on them that you can have. Terry

    oneshooter,

For me the blinders serve 4 purposes and if I think about it I might find more.

First they help keep you looking downrange to where the targets are.

Second, they help keep movements from your right or left from distracting you at a critical point in your target aquisition.

Third, they will help keep light from the side and rear of you from reflection off your lenses and obscuring your vision.

Fourth, they help keep the wind from blowing right across your eyes and drying your eyeballs out.

Fifth, they will help keep target/powder residue from getting in behind your glasses.

Others might have a different set of things but those are mine. I first used the ones Federal used to stamp out by the thousands from heavy card stock with their advertizing on one side and a flat black surface on the other side.

    Regards,

    Don T. Littleton CO

Anyone know how to get ahold of Barry of Omaha Shooter's Supply? He had these made at one time and I'd like to pick his brain a bit.
This is getting more and more difficult the more calls that I make. Get dies made, go to a special digital print shop, get the sheets printed up, take them to the die/press guys, etc, etc, etc.
Scissors and paper punches are looking better and better all the time...
