I have a 20+ year old Pigeon Grade 101 trap. This is a very sentimental firearm to me. I am the third generation to shoot it. It has been rebuilt once before and is still tight. I have talked with the guys at MidwestGunWorks
about the finish on the receiver and forearm Iron. They are both becoming very dull and some rust has appeared on the forearm iron. MWG has told me that this was plated. I would assume it would be nickle. I don't know. They didn't have anyone to recommend. I know metalife does some plating. How hard would it be to remove the original and have it replated?

    Thanks Jason in PA
