Looking to buy a Grade 5 and need all angles of the engraving, and pics of a real pigeon. I just don't want to pay big money for a fake. Please try to send some pics if you have some of the real deal. Thanks Josh jdlovejoy4@yahoo.com

Josh, I bought a model 12 with #5 engraving, high rib and custom wood that shoots 100% high. Before I bought it I did a Google search looking for Winchester engravings and found some on one of the sites. Unfortunately I can't remember the site. Do a Google search and maybe you'll get lucky. By the way, the pigeon's pecker always faces left.

Josh, click on the website URL above and then click Gun Library and then click Winchester shotguns and then go to item reference # 1098445

Josh, Don't spend that kinda money w/o having some knowledgable M12 collector lined up to examine it for you during the inspection period.Pictures are not a substitute for an experienced collector looking at it for you.

A real Grade 5 can be varified thru the Winchester Museum once you get a serial number. It use to cost $25. Not sure now.

Setterman , not true . Model 12 and 42 records were lost in a fire. Only some personal engravers records remain not even 10 percent are available. Jeff
