    Hello:
I have a teenage disabled nephew that I got into trapshooting. On Saturdays, I drive up and we shoot together. I gave him a Remington 870 TB with a 28inch trap barrel. It is a modified choke of .016 constriction.

When I had the gun I could smoke targets. He shoots slow and he needs a full choke. He is working part time and he wants to purchase a fix full choke trap barrel, 28" or 30 ".

I am trying to save him some money. Is there anything I can do to tighten up the constriction short of putting choke tubes in the barrel? I have tried Ebay and no luck.

    Any help would be appreciated.

If your reloading, I suspect you could play around with wads, and such. nothing specific comes to mind,...

    Steve,

There is a gun show in Waukesha this weekend. I have seen a guy that sells barrels there and usually has plenty to choose from. Chances are you could get a used barrel for less than doing barrel work.
