1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Want short barrel for 97 win .

Looking at getting into cowboy shooting and need barrel that has been cut down.

I have a good 97 with 30 inch full but don't want to butcher it.

Will any of the reproduction parts interchange with the orginal 97.

Thanks for any information you can supply.

Hill Topper, you didn't say if yours is the take down model or the solid frame.

Go to the SASS website and the "Wire" forum.

Plenty of guys there that know what they are doing and will lend you a hand.

There a couple of good 'smiths in MI I can recommend if you live nearby.

I forwarded your request to friend of mine who has several '97 barrels as well as other parts. We'll see if he responds.

    Hilltopper,

Call 701-255-0534 for Gordy. He has barrels you want. He has tried getting in contact with you via this thread but can't and doesn't have your email address.
