    STS/N27/Gun Club hull
    Remington TGT12 wad (or clone)
    1 Oz magnum grade #8 (or #8 1/2)
    16.5 g Clays
    Remington STS 209 primer.

This might be a bit faster than Remington's low recoil offering but it is a low recoil round that just crushes the singles.

Remington Managed-Recoil STS Target Loads are 7/8 oz doing 1100 f/s.

The closest load I found is Rem STS hull, Rem 209P primer, Win WAA12SL wad, 13.4 gr WAALite powder; 1100 f/s 6500 psi. I think you will get better crimps with the Win WAA12L wad since this is a wad designed for 7/8 oz of shot.

I would guestimate that Wolfram's load is at about 1100 f/s.

Look at some of the loads on Hodgdon's website listing for Winchester Featherlite powder.

    Very, very low recoil.

7/8 ounces of shot at 980 fps still smacks targets, but feels like a .410.
