CPU (copper pressure units), LPU (lead pressure units) and PSI (pounds per square inch derived from a piezo gage) cannot be converted to each other. They measure different things. It would be like trying to convert five minutes of time into pounds.

The only reloading manuals I have at hand do not list the loads you are using. My available manuals are restricted to Alliant powders.

ahhhhh ... I see what your confusion is ...

Yeah, Hodgdon can be a little casual abt mixing old and new data.

Look UP a couple of inches, at the REM 209P primer section & WAA12SL wads.

The WIN & REM primer strengths are ± equivalent (according to conventional wisdom, anyhow) and the drops are close enough to side-by-side, and you'll see:

    19 gn - 6,800 PSI - 1180 FPS

    20.2 - 8,100 PSI - 1235

    21.3 - 9,300 PSI - 1290

Close 'nuff, says I, however if you have to see it in (C) form before you use it, I think you're SOL until you talk to Mike Daly.

    Thanks Gentlemen
I’ve been using Fed primers with 18.5 gns and my stash is starting to get low. That’s why I’m changing over to the Win primers.
