need info-expert on older KOLAR

    i need info on a kolar o/u - i dont know much about the brand or where to look for a barrel-

    - info i need is , "older style" barrel??- not sure what he means!

    i have a friend who ruined this type of barrel he refered to it as an, older style 30in o/u and he wants me to find one

    For a trap fun?Maybe a .740 bore step ribbed? That's was how they were first brought out. Good luck with the hunt. Call Jeff Mainland at KOLAR, he might point you in a direction to go.

    The older O/U barrels had a fixed rib and the .750 bore barrels came out around 7 years ago. Prior to that the bores were .740. The .740 barrels are heavier than the .750 barrels.

    I would agree with bjk and contact Jeff Mainland at Kolar. He may have or know of a set that are available. Bill Malcolm
