Have a problem with my '95 Eclipse. It will run just fine around time but when I get out on the interstate and run normal highway speed for 25 miles or so, it will hic up and then start missing. It will maintain highway speeds but skipping all the time. Will continue to skip around town afterwards, let it sit for a while and drive it around town and not a problem. I have replaced the following: plugs, plugwires, coil, air cleaner, fuel filter and catalytic converter.. The computer shows no codes.. I am at a loss. Any help would be appreaciated... Thanks,

    Van

Clean the Throttle Body with some carb cleaner.

1)Remove the air intake tube and start the engine.

2)Spray the carb cleaner in until the engine starts to bog and then quit spraying.

3)Let the engine adjust itself and idle back up.

4)Then repeat this procedure several more times.

5)Replace air intake system and test it out.

I use to have a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant for my work vehicle. It had well over 100,000 miles when this same problem you described started. I would repeat this cleaning every 20,000 miles or so and it ran fine. This wasn't my idea. My buddy at the auto repair shop gave me this to try. If it's not this, i can't help you. Mitsubishi are pieces of sh!t in my opinion. No offense.

The same way you shoot a big person named Don I assume. First you load the shotgun, then you point the shotgun, then you pull or release the trigger. Simple.

Shame on me I thought it was a shotgun. But Galt knows all.
