Need help, remove logo sticker from shotgun barrel

    I have a shotgun that came with the manufactures stick on logo on the barrel. How do I remove it without damage the blueing? Thanks for any help... gene

    Spray with WD40 and let it soak. Or you could use a hair dryer to soften the adheasive then pull the sticker off.

    The WD 40 is very good at removing adhesive residue from about any surface. Mixer has it rigt.

    "Goof Off" available at stores everywhere. Made for removing stickers and such without damaging the substrate (so long as its not plastic).

    Wait for a nice hot day next summer. Sign up with a fast shooting doubles squad. After the event, just peel the sticker off without burning your fingers.

    Just had a can of Goof-Off sitting here, so I tried it on a little metal part that was blued and it didn't harm the bluing. Sure stunk up the room though,

    Just peel it off and use Goo-Gone to clean it up. You can get this just about anywhere, and it doesn't stink up the place.
