Can anyone ID this Renato Gamba gun? Its advertised as an Edinburgh, but i've seen another gun advertised as Edinburgh and it didn't look the same as this one (the one I saw looked like one of the Franchi 2000 series guns). Would it be worth $650 w/ 32" fixed choke barrels? Wood looks custom, hopefully its at very least neutral, LH would be ideal though. Any thoughts on parts and service?

skeet, it does appear to be a earlier Edinburg, not a Daytona (drop out trigger). The wood apprears factory as Gamba is generous with their dimensions. These guns are very much equal to or better than Perazzi for quality workmanship. At the price you list, get it fast...you will not regret it. If the chokes have not been touched, pattern both barrels (probably X full/full or X full/IM) and be prepared to see a dense pattern. Parts and service can be had by a number of good smiths, my first choice is Batchelers in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
If there was ever a gun I wished I had not sold, it was a Daytona I sold years ago when "funds" were tight.
