I am looking for a brass cleaning rod about 10" long that a Payne-Galway brush fits into. One end fits into a drill motor with fluted sides so it doesn't slip in the chuck. The other end is where the brush screws into. I bought one years ago in Amarillo but I haven't seen any since. I think the guy was selling under the name of " Johnny's Brass". Anyone out there that can help it would be appreciated. Thanks

    Jimmy

You can use one section of the 3 piece aluminum rod, as I do in my Dewalt Drill Driver.

Works very well, you can even add sections to go deeper.

Go to a machine shop or a milling shop and have one made.

My understanding is that "Johnny" isn't making custom rods anymore.

I'm glad to have a Johnny's Brass Rod set...full barrel and the chamber length rod. Its one of the best gun related purchases I have ever made.

My memory is that Johnny was a pleasure to deal with and delivered promptly. Any idea why he quit making the rods?

Maybe Chuckie68 will take over where Johnny left off.
