Hey Shooters, I have a TS.Com viewer from the UK who wants me to make him a shooting crying towel with excuses embroidered on it that are heard when a shooter misses the bird.

I know you guys don't make excuses but can you tell me any that you hear from others shooting with you when they miss a target ?

I sure would appreciate it and I'm sure there some good ones

    Thanks in advance

I was taught by my father a long time ago to never have any excuse for failure, especially in sports. Every time I miss it is my fault and my fault only. Sometimes you just have to tell everybody how shitty you really are.

I broke my belt buckle and had to shoot all day holding my pants up with one hand.

A sudden change in barometric pressure had an adverse impact upon the flight of the target, causing it to deviate from its original rotationally-dictated destination, relative to the horizontal axis of the shot concentration, as propelled by the explosive components within a controlled environment, initiated by my visual, mental and physical reactions to a previously-memorized behavior.

NOW -- after you have "slung" all of that BS in their direction, the person is most-likely to forget that you ever missed in the first place !! *smiles*

the dust from some of the targets i smoke gets in my eyes & causes me to not see properly.i have very sensitive eyes. ...................... i had the biggest bumble bee i have seen all year land on my jeans just before my turn. & this greatly affected my superb concentration level ........... i forgot to trim my eyelashes & they are putting streaks on my expensive shooting glasses. dwain
