I don't have a blue book with me but they will want to know if there is a - number after the model 10 and it's probably round butt or if not that too. I would guess in the 300-400 and a hard sell unless it is truly something a collector would want.

My blue book is 5 years old now, but here is what I've got on your gun. First there were 14 engineering changes on your model. Open the cylinder and on the inside forward section there chould be the model # and change #. So it would read like 10-8. Model 10, engineering change #8. Prices are $420-100%, $285-98%, $215-95%, $165-90%. Prices should not have changed to much for your older gun because of the age of my book. Hope this helps you out. break em all Jeff

That is a nice older S&W. There is a new in the box one on GunBroker now for $649.00. I would think most individuals would be willing to pay $500.00 plus for your handgun. A lot of those guns were converted into PPC competition guns.

You sure about that Unsingle? Don't remember seeing too many round butt PPC guns but lots of model 10 conversions back in the day.

Silverbullet - I was referring to conversions. I have seen 3 or 4 lately at the local gunshows.
