    Need some direction here. I was shooting my KS5 today and everything was normal. The gun was doing it's job and wasn't living up to my part of the bargain by missing. But anyway, all of a sudden I'm standing there with my forend split through with the hardware still attached to the gun.

    OK, where do you suggest I go for a forend? I don't need a stock. My stock is an adjustable comb with a Gracoil. Your suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Thanks Ji. I've e-mailed Kreighoff already and plan to follow-up on Monday. I was wondering if there was anyone out there with one they wanted to sell or know of anyone else who might have one.

    This website has helped me out in the past with great advice and help and I thank you and everyone else for their support.

    John;

    If you end up getting a new forend, I might be interested in buying your split one from you if it's repairable. I have a PFS on my KS-5, and the wood forend looks goofy. I am semi-sort-of looking for a spare forend that I can paint black, but I want to keep my existing one for the next owner of this gun.
