Need a nice set of wood for model 12 16 gauge

    Is the 16 gauge a different frame size from a 12 gauge? I have a y model field set off of an unfired gun with some nice figure in the buttstock if it will fit.

    Yes, isn't it interesting, if your not the anal retentive moderators list you can get by with any insult or personel attack. BEN

    As far as model 12, 16 GA wood, the frames are smaller than the 12 gauge. FD

    I might be mistaken, but I remember a friend saying that either the 12 and 16, or the 20 and 16 were interchangeable.

    Don't know if this helps, but it sure isn't intended to be a smarta$$ answer.
