The site has been updated - guns are being taken in again. D & B wasn't taking in any guns because a family member was very ill and in the hospital for months.

Being sort of a traditionalist, I kind of threw up in by mouth a little bit.

I more offended by the out of focus pictures...LOL...

Even with it out of focus that looks like some great work. Do you mind telling us what that ran you?

Boy you skated that question Bulge. LOL

Personally i like it alot. I know some of the purest's may not but it turned it into a real attractive gun and something different. Is the stock refinished or painted? Is the reciever painted or is it another process.

Did I sound like a politician?
The stock has the original red model 32 finish. I do have new K-80 wood for it. The receiver was nickel plated then the lettering was applied. Don't know how they did it. I am about 1/2 way done with the gun. Bulge.

Reciver is satin nickel with polished nickel graphs. Very hard to get good pics. Stocks could use old time pin up girl. Nice gun, hopes she shoots as good as she looks.

Bulge, I also have a K32. I spoke with Ernest Marlette, who is a nationally known Kreighoff expert, about refinishing my receiver and as part of my conversation with him I asked if I should also change the internals to K80 parts. He said that he does not recommend this change to a K32....before you do this to your gun you might want to speak with him about it. His website is marlettefinearms.com.

    Best regards,

    Jay
