1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

My forend has a fine crack inside. Any suggestions?
Had the gun checked out at the grand and everything was tightened-but the forend was hard to put on after, then I noticed the crack. A gunsmith locally told me to get a new forend. Appreciate any info.

Judy. They are hard to come by. I have a MX3 with a fixed/glued forend. I could do it for you in a flash and fix the reason it cracked in the first place. I recommend another gunsmith. My personal choice would be Doug Braker for the MN area, Tron for the MI area and many others around. Fixing a crack by gluing it and relieving the stress that caused it is no big deal to most competent gunsmiths. Devault in Pa. Allem out east too, Check wiht Giacamo etc etc.

    Judy,

If you would like to purchase a MX3 forend I have one and would be willing to sell it for $175 shipped.
