If any of you older guys remember, back in the late 70's they said we had a coming global cooling headed for us.

These S.O.B.'s will use anything as an excuse to try an steal our money an make new laws to control us with.

This is the result of Tea Party anti-governmentalism taken to the extreme.

Does the Sun have a Government?

    I rest my case.

(No fair comparing to Detroit - that's different).

Output from the sun does "flicker" from time to time. Actually, some scientists say that if not for coal burning and other industrial polution starting 200 years or so ago, we would probably have experienced some very significant, and perhaps catastrophic, cooling during the past century.

Vodkaknockers, I was in college when they were saying we were heading into a ice age in the 70's I remember them talking about spreading carbon black in the ice caps to warm them up

Amazing how accurate science is isn't it

I mean it is amazing what scientists will say to get grant money to study the latest phenomenon that is going to ruin us

I am in the HVAC bidness and the price of the HFC's has skyrocketed in the last 8 months, there was a fella on one of the site I visit from Iraq asking some questions about a system and he said the pay $30 for a 30 lb drum of R 22, the refrigerant used in most HVAC, 410a is gaining, but they found out it was much higher GWP that the HFC's

Guess only chlorine based refrigerants sold in N America are the only ones that effect the ozone

    Catpower,

Science is actually fairly accurate. It's the pseudo-scientists that are not.

You're right Chichay, too bad the press only listens or relates what the pseudo scientists conclude

That dark spot must've been over Ohio. We were 52 degrees this morning.
