I found this bottle while tracking down a coyote today. It was buried 2ft down the wall edge of a creek bed and only 1/4 of it was sticking out. Kind of looked like a motor oil filter at first glance. It has a brown top and is ceramic. Just can't find what it is. I know it is good luck cause after finding it I found the Yote after passing him up 2 times before finding the bottle.

Is the top plastic or metal?

The top is ceramic just like the rest of the bottle. The outside has a shiny look (salt finish) or something like that.

Thanks for responding. Keep it coming. I still cannot find any info.

    The bottle, that is.

Looks like it might be an old beer bottle, maybe.

It looks like stoneware to me. You can go to the library and check out a collectible book on bottles or stoneware. John

It's a vintage English ceramic beer bottle. There is an identical one on eBay (Item No. 230676139344) selling for $25.00.

I like quartering's response. Looks like a new rifle is on it's way. I've been wanting a longer range varmit coyote rifle. But if it is the $25 dollar bottle then I will have to just buy some ammo for it.

    Chuckie68,

    Milk it is!!!
