    Merle Stockdale, from Ackley Iowa.

Not only the first in the state of Iowa, but the very first shooter in the USA to make the 27 yard line.

    One hell of a shooter!

    Hauxfan!

No flipping idea in Mondamtana, but I do know Joe Petroni (August 1987) was the 1st from Mondamtana to get a 100 @ the 27 yard line. Scott

The first 100 x 27 yard in Minnysoda was the famous Tom Larkin.

    Hap,
Ata Records say Merle Stockdale was the 1st and Arnold Reigger second, only because he was squaded later in the same day. Merle was the first to reach the Back Fence in a very close race. Scott

Oh it's really winter. Scott Johnson: What movie character was named "Joe Petroni"? 1. Name of the movie. 2. Approx. year of movie. 3. Name two famous stars in that movie, now deceased.

Yes it is winter, and yes Joe Petroni is a namesake for a movie character in that movie.

Wow you guys must be really old :) I didn't know that at all. Here in Mondamtana we have a real Joe Petroni, Hall of famer, still a trap shooter and he hales from that ruff and tumble town of Butte. Scott
