My wife was with me at Jaquas for flag city and wanted to try some guns. She took out a few different guns. She has only shot one time in over a year. She took the demo Beretta UGB25 Excel out and broke 18/23 from the 16 yard line. The gun has ZERO recoil, easy to use, points well, and smokes em! I included some pictures on here so everyone can see it!

I have had a quite a few trap guns, I am stuck on my perazzi now but I did shoot this and liked it. It is actually very easy to open and use! I used to have a 391 and I believe this gun cycles shells faster!

They are only $3296.00 at Jaquas. I think it is well worth it for a gun that has no recoil and shoots well. If it breaks I will just fix it, that is why the sell parts, anytime a new idea is developed it is expected to be a bumpy road at first. The beretta rep told me that there will most likely be an adjustable rib on the next one, so I will also be buying that one too.

I am only 22 and we got married may 17th 2008. Teaching her to shoot might be a bad idea on my part if I ever make her mad! lol

If they come up with a release trigger and a high comb, I'll be in the market. I like manfacturers that think outside the box. Besides, recoil has always been the big issue with me. And this gun may have solved the recoil problem.

The comb goes up a quite a bit however I am not sure about the release trigger. I am sure someone somewhere will develop one!

    Steve,

Breaking the gun open and closing it make the same noise as any other break open, it is not like an automatic in that sense.

I just don't get this one. What exactly will it do that a 391 won't? Given the price you could have gotten a really nice combo that will leave this contraption in the dust and have some value left at the end of it.

The barrel and rib is cool. The stock is OK But that receiver is ugly. Maybe they should change the model no. to UGLY XPENSIVE.

    Wolfram,
It allows the bunker shooters to break it open and keep the shell in the chamber as they change posts between shots. My son shot one at the CA State shoot and just turned around and said "wicked awsome" he normaly shoots a Browning XT U/S Combo. He is 11 and found it very easy to function and operate.

Very nice Shot Gun, hope your wife sticks with it.

I shot a couple rounds of doubles with one of these at the California State Shoot at Kingburg. The reduced recoil was great and the weight was fine. The way the second shell loaded had me curious, pretty slick way to do it.
I was not to keen on the release lever travel to open the gun after a shot. The pivit point alowed the barrel to ease back and had to maintain down force on barrel to load shell. I shoot left hand and my thumb is right at the release but it's a long through to open.
When you open the gun there is all kinds of mechanical stuff happening, there are a lot of moving parts in this action. Looked like a maintainance and or repair adventure.
I look forward to reading and hearing feedback after two years and 40K rounds.
Till then I will stick with my 391's.

Hmmmm, so you have to break the gun open to load one into the chamber, it has only one barrel (and therefore only one choke), and it throws the empties down at your feet. That seems to have the disadvantages of both an O/U and an autoloader built into one gun. Plus, as someone said, it does seem to have a lot of moving parts in there.

It just seems that for a lot less money, a 391 with a good recoil reducer would do just as well. I'm not trying to knock Everett's wife's gun, but I don't really see the advantage of it. I guess that's why they make so many different guns, because not everyone likes the same thing.

Good luck with the new gun, and let us know how it does after you've got a serious number of rounds through it.
