Looks like a Tri bike. Are you a triathlete, Coach? I always wanted to get back in shape and complete an Ironman but multiple orthopedic surgeries in the past several years killed that notion. I should have done one 30 years ago when I had the body for it.

I used to love Al Trautwig's NBC coverage of the World Championship in Kona.

We'll be off the indoor trainers soon enough, coach...(now if we can just get these damn salt trucks to quit dispersing corrosion-enhancers, every time we get a ground-covering).

I have a 2009 Cannondale (Rocketdale) Synapse, the last year with the American hand-made frame. Mid priced bike, have a little less than $3K in it.

This thing will FLY, old motor and all. LOL

Speedo shows max speed from a high speed run on the flats, did not go this fast for long. (whew)

No aero bars, may get those this spring, but bike does have aftermarket Zipp wheels.

I just got one scary scary imagin - the average* trapshooter in spandex bicycle pants.

    * I was referring to the average trapshooter, not any of the posters whom might peruse this thread.

Bless you for buying Zipp wheels...made right here in Indy, they help keep one of my old buds employed.

Hmm, my other passion has two wheels too, though it doesn't take much effort to get it over 40 mph...or 70. I'm about to beat my brains out on the keyboard as we can't seem to get away from the winter weather here in Iowa, I'm not quite hardcore enough to ride in 30 degree weather.

My plans when the weather breaks includes trapshooting , and also getting this back on the road. My son and I have been tinkering with it this winter.

I lost weight for the summer, down to 162. Now, when I am hauling butt, it only takes one trip. LOL

No it's not Kolar69. You're about the 20th person to ask me that. I can't afford to sell it. By the time I get it painted I'll never get my money out of it (isn't it always like this when you're doing a resto?)...so it's staying in the family...forever...plus my son would never forgive me if I got rid of it...

Got my "Other Passion" ready for the riding season.

I could have bought a used Perazzi for what I have in this machine, but I would rather have the "Rocketdale". LOL
