It came with the name Rosco so Rosco it is. Sleeping in the cage with door open went in by himself. Beagle, Little Jon in my bed. Glad that happened or I would probably have to sleep in cage. Nice to have bird dog again. Ken

I like an occasional dog picture and don't see anything really wrong with it. I am, however, just really an observer. What is a metrosexual? Is that a real word?
    Thanks

Sorry, I should have put the previous response on the other dog topic. Still want to know what a metrosexual is.

How did you end up with a full growin pup? Rescue? curious.Had to put down my 18month old due to seizures two weeks ago, lost w/o him right now, could use a steady grown retriever w/o issue about now.

You are a lucky man! And I am betting that Rosco is a lucky dog! I grew up with English Setters. Got my first for my eighth birthday. Now on my third Brittany, and I love him...but I must admit that I miss the English Setters! Enjoy!! Jack

A man and his dog are a team that develop a special appreciation of/for each other that only a dog owner can understand.

Iam happy for you and wish both of you many wonderful years together.

Hey Bill, He looks like a beer hunter:) The Pheasantmaster's right on. There a few years of Alder's prime where he could read my mind and know the next move before I'd thought it. Sure do miss him, but Annie's training me now.

Previous owners are starting up a day care for kids and thought that some parents

might not appreciate him. I lucked out ,friends of ours knew I was going to

replace the one I lost. Rosco was originally theirs ,they had the mother. My wife

put her back out today so she said put them in pen for the day. He walked right

followed by the beagle. He barked a little told him to be quiet and he did. He

minds better than I do. Have to separate at feeding time or the straight gut the

beagle will eat his food too. He is a typical setter gentle soft mouth and

friendly as hell. The pup I lost 9 months old when taken, I never got to hunt

over. I had my left knee replaced 3 weeks before she was taken. Ken U

Great looking dog, you look like a happy couple. lol
Been three weeks since I lost mine, kinda looking around, but not too serious yet. Given time, the right one will come, just like yours did.
