Went to Paris Tn last weekend for the JR Olympic tryouts.. My youngun (in the green with the green gun) Got the silver medal.. we are all really proud of her!!
A little side note which means nothing but we learned a lesson from it.. On Saturday on her last round she shot a 22.. Me, her, her mom, and grandmother were of course all keep her score.. The next morning when the offical scores were posted, she was scored a 21.. we asked for and looked at the original score sheet and it said 21.. we were still all happy.. what is 1 target?? right.. well, The gold winner beat her by 1 target.. Like I said.. we learned a lesson, and the young lady who won the gold is the daughter of a couple I met at SCTP coach class back in the winter, they are wonderful people and I and tickled for them! thanks!

There is Olympic Trap in Paris, Tennessee? Hadn't heard of that. Where is the facility located? And many congratulations to your daughter - that is some great shooting!

    Thanks,

    Doc

Congratulations! That's some fine shooting! Never walk off a post without hearing your score and never off the line without counting the O's and /'s on the score sheet yourself. Missing the shoot offs for something like that is a hard lesson learned.
