Here's a peek at the work in progress on my P MX-3 Special combo gun. I know that not everyone likes engraving on a shotgun but I've always like them. This is a bucket list wish of mine and I'll have it in my hands soon! I can hardly wait!! I have three barrels I shoot with this combo gun and I'll add another picture when it's completed.

    Hap

Very, very nice.....and normally I don't care one way or the other about engraving. I look forward to seeing the completed project.

Hap, are you trying to out do the squirrel gun? I must say this one is gonna give it a run for its money. Absolutely gorgeous buddy. You sure know how to do 'em up right. Bring that one to Sparta this year so I can see her in person.

You have a barrel to follow the dogs with? Looks good Hap, enjoy.

Edit: That's too funny Tom S, but also too true;)

I told Hap he needs to go to Nordstrom's and get a new wardrobe if he's going to be shooting a gun this nice. His funky hat and blue jeans just won't complete the look and style to match that beautiful Perazzi MX3.

Seriously it's beautiful and I know you will shoot it well.

mdm39, Yes, Howard Simon is engraving my gun as he did my old squirrel gun model 12 also!

Thanks guys, I'm tickled beyond pink with the work in progress and can't wait to have it back in smoking order!

Bob, yes, I do have a barrel set suitable to "shoot-at" quail with, a set of 29-1/2 inch MT-6 fitted with Briley choke tubes! My new doubles annihilators!! After fitting those barrels to my action I've only shot 300 targets with it, a 92,93 and 94 at our state shoot.

Tom, you are aware that some of my old worn and ragged blue jeans are worth more money than a new outfit from Abercrombie&Fitch don't you? Lookn like a Jake n shootn like a Gene-ie? :) OK, I will hafta change my dress code somewhat just to look the part of A/F crowd. I'll go down to Goodwill n see what I can come up with one day soon? :)Pix O that soon too.

    Happy HAP

I'll venture to the north country one day and we'll shoot some targets and the breeze too!!

I would say Hap, from reading what life time friends say (Tom S.)I would prefer the blue jeans raggy hat as in Status quo. I am pretty sure I cannot out B.S. you but maybe Joe 90T can. LOL. Scott

Thanks Vern, hopefully that will be in the coming days and the sooner the better!!

Scott, Joe90T and I have locked horns a time or two already! He said, "I've always considered myself a pretty fair BSer, but it sure is nice to meet a pro"! I have no idea what he meant though? :)
