My 870 Blew up

    It was bad locktime and not quite enough bushing that caused your 870 to blew up.

    Got any pictures of the damage to anybody else that was shooting?

    Though not common, 870's do blow up, as this one did in Australia.

    WE changed shells. Most dont need to reload Its sad that there are the dumb ass that are able to buy guns . How about 34 gr red dot and 1 -1/4 oz shot works every time

    once you cross a 1100 and a 870, I don't think the 1187 can reproduce.

    Yep Neil a prime example of the bolt not being in battery when the trigger is pulled. Happened a lot to those of us with real short arms especially when we switched from the Winchester model 12 to them darned long throw Remingtons. That's why they made that "SPECIAL" 870 you are holding ;o)

    I had a 1100 a few years back and it when queer on me, I found out later that it hooked up with a 870 and that is how the 1187 came about.
