1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I don't know, but the last batch of salmon I got fromyou was jsut great.

I doubt that receiver would be worth much north or south of a grand. Are you sure you are not thinking of a type 3?

Generally Perazzi refer type II, III, and type IV only to it's forend design, not receiver.

Through out the years receiver went through few changes itself, but it's at different times not related to forend changes.

Glad you liked it MIA. When I get home tonight I will post a picture. The release button for the lever is on the side not the top. I just can't remember what side. Old age?

The current top lever release trip is at 9 O'clock now.

When they change from type III to type IV forend, the top lever trip remained at 12 O'clock for a few years.

That's an early type III gun even before the 12 O'clock trip location. This is really an earlier receiver.

I have the same receiver and when I looked into Lippards book showing the serial #s mine was the last type 2 according to his list. I see your release trip looks kind of flattened like mine. Mine works but I got a new trip pin from Giacomo a while back and just haven't put it in yet. I have a type 3 mx8 and aside from the trip pin I don't recall any difference.
